After studying litterature, Béatrice Bompas joined the Comedy School of Saint-Etienne in 1992.

She then joined Christian Duchange and la Compagnie de l’Artifice, for six years, travelling around France and developing a form of theatre which insists on meeting its public, beyond established structures.


In 1996 she founded the Compagnie de la Commune.


In 2004/2005 Béatrice Bompas was an associate artist with la Comédie de Saint-Etienne.

In 2012/2013 she staged an opera for children, produced by the Opera Theater of Saint Etienne.
